The Newport Virtuosi is a not for profit organization dedicated to promoting performing and visual arts. It was founded by its artistic director Slava Timokhin in 2006 in Newport, Rhode Island, USA.
Since that time, Newport Virtuosi committed to educating and inspiring audiences, children, and adults alike. Newport Virtuosi takes a prominent role as one of the leading performing and educational organizations. The organization has a tremendous, positive impact on its community, and here are some reasons why:
The Newport Virtuosi strives to provide the highest caliber of music with musicians giving extraordinary, world-class performances. The Newport Virtuosi aims to provide audiences with a unique, positive experience year-round, including online festivals and competitions. The organization plays a vital role in cultural enrichment and education within the community and beyond. The influence of classical music has long been proven as a positive, nurturing environment for people of all ages.
The insightful programs, presentations, festivals lure audiences – perhaps otherwise not familiar with classical music – and take them on a musical adventure. Many people fall in love with our programs and return to relax and enjoy further visits with the Newport Virtuosi.
The organization has established a series of online international festivals, competitions, and educational concerts/lectures.

The Newport Virtuosi is devoted to seeking out young performers and composers of extraordinary talent. Slava Timokhin

FOUNDER AND EXECUTIVE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Dr. Slava Timokhin has an illustrious carrier in music, theater, composition, writing, conducting, performing, teaching, leading business, and founding executive music director of Newport Virtuosi.
During the last years, Dr. Timokhin’s busy career also brought him to Switzerland and Europe, where he shares his talent immersing in many creative projects.
Dr. Timokhin is an active member of the ASCAP (The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers) composing and arranging music for a verity of groups and orchestras.

Over a decade, the Newport Virtuosi invited onboard many great artists for its memorable performances. The Newport Virtuosi Orchestra performed at the famous Newport Music Festival. Among the orchestra were members of the renowned Colorado String Quartet.
