Results of the 2020 Newport Virtuosi International Online Competition

On behalf of the Newport Virtuosi organization and international jury, I would like to thank all contestants for participating in our competition. I also would like to wish everybody a very prosperous, healthy, and happy new 2021 year. During this year, Newport Virtuosi will celebrate its 15th anniversary.

Our 2020 International Music Competition gives us enormous pleasure to see how music united us during difficult times.

We were overwhelmed by the number of applicants from all over the world. The jury had a challenging task in selecting the best video performances.

The jury made their decisions and awarded the contestants from the USA, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Kazakhstan, India, Qatar, Ukraine, Norway, Russia, Netherlands, Spain, and Poland.

Below, you can see the names of the contestants in their respective categories and places. All diplomas will be mailed to the winning competitors during January 2021.

It gives me great pleasure to announce an additional video contest among the best performers who received our jury’s highest ratings. Their videos will be posted shortly on our website. The website visitors and viewers can vote by liking a video of their favorite contestant.  Our sponsors generously agreed to establish a special incentive price of $100, which will go to the contestant with the most liked video. All dislikes will be completely ignored.

This video contest will end on March 2, 2021.

Please make sure to visit our website and to vote for your favorite candidate.

Warmest regards,

Dr. Slava Timokhin
